Steve Mogensen

President, CEO, & Co-Founder

Steve first met his Co-Founder and SpeechVive inventor Jessica Huber when he was Managing Director of the Alfred Mann Institute at Purdue University (AMIPurdue). AMIPurdue began working with Jessica to develop her idea of a speech aid for people with Parkinson’s disease.  Steve has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, specifically in sales, marketing, operations, and M&A.

Before AMIPurdue, Steve was VP of Sales & Marketing at Enpath Medical which sold to Greatbatch Medical for $102M in June 2007. Steve began his career with over 11 years at Smiths Medical and MedSource Technologies.

Brian Kopp

Chief Financial Officer

Brian has over 20 years of Healthcare industry experience, serving in leadership roles within Finance, Strategy, M&A, and Business Development at Eli Lilly and Company. Most recently, he was CFO and Vice President of Strategy and Operations for Elanco Animal Health. Since transitioning his career from corporate, he has consulted with a broad range of clients, particularly startup companies. He desires to make a difference in people’s lives in a way that can leverage his experiences.

John Ridge

Vice President of Reimbursement and Managed Care

John has over 20 years of managed care and reimbursement experience bringing new technologies to the market. He has worked with companies globally to successfully commercialize new products and was instrumental in successfully commercializing the Exact Sciences Cologuard test. At SpeechVive, he has advocated for coverage of the device as a unique and necessary communication technology.
